Registration Costs & Breakdown

The Birkdale Barracudas Team work hard to secure sponsorship from the community to help us keep registration fees as low as possible.

WHAT YOU PAY:

• Registration dues are $150 for the first swimmer and a $10 discount for each additional swimmer.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE:

• 8 weeks of coaching, 4-5 days a week
• Team t-shirt
• Swimtopia dues paid for per swimmer for record keeping
• Ribbons and other awards earned at each meet
• End-of-season banquet, food, and awards

There are a few potential out-of-pocket costs in addition to your registration dues that you should be aware of:

Swim Suite, Goggles, Swim cap | About $20-40

• We offer suggestions for colors but the brand selection is up to you so prices may vary. 

Team merchandise | Optional 

• The Team Store is open during registration to make it easy for you to order team apparel for our family to wear at meets. All proceeds will benefit the Barracudas. We typically sell dri-fit shirts, tanks, sweatshirts, hats, visors, athletic shorts, cap, coozies, etc. We love seeing our kids, parents and even grandparents representing our team in and out of the season.  Be sure to grab your gear and support your swimmers.

End-of-season coaches’ gifts | Optional

• There will collect money from parents at the end of the season to gift to our coaches. You determine how much you’d like to give and this is completely optional.

WHAT IT ACTUALLY COSTS:

While you only pay $150 for the first swimmer and the discounted rate for any additional, it actually costs a lot more per swimmer for us to field a competitive team.
